Kelsey Annie Joy Seedlings

I started a few Kelsey Annie Joy seeds as I wanted to test whether seed from open centered dahlias germinated quicker and at a higher rate.  With my small sample, they definitely germinated more quickly but the germination rate was similar to all my other seeds.

Average seeds per seed pod: 33

Germination Rate: 38%.   Seedling Survival Rate: 38%

First seed germinated on Day: 2.  Average germination at 2 days.  Last seed germinated on Day 3 of 28.
